It seems Nunavut's table tennis players have announced their intentions at the Arctic Winter Games. A group of four female players have managed to win at least two ulus each, with the possibility of more to come. ARROW Continued

It just wasn't meant to be in basketball for Team NWT.
The boys and girls teams ended up with silver ulus after being beaten in both gold medal games by Alberta North. The girls ended up on the short end of a
75-66 decision, while the boys were beaten 72-57.

Inuvik athletes collect
gold, silver and bronze

A lot of precious metal is heading home to Inuvik after athletes from the community had an impressive showing at the 2010 Arctic Winter Games in Grande Prairie.
Kandace Sittichinli collected two medals, a bronze and a gold, in Dene Games. The gold came from her individual effort in the stick pull and she shared bronze with the junior girls pole push team.
