Early morning collision Dez Loreen Northern News Services An unidentified driver caused some serious damage in Inuvik early Thursday morning. At approximately 5:30 a.m. on May 8, a driver of an unknown vehicle drove through a power pole on Kingmingya Road behind the NorthMart store. The vehicle then smashed into a nearby trailer used by the Inuvik Homeless Shelter. RCMP Staff Sgt. Bill Eubank confirmed the time of the incident, but wouldn't provide details, saying the investigating officers are preparing a press release on the incident.
