Residents of Pangnirtung continue to clean-up after a severe windstorm swept through the hamlet on Nov. 27.
Mayor Sakiasie Sowdlooapik, who has lived in the community for more than 40 years, said this was the first time he had seen the winds act so wild.

Pangnirtung fixes up blubber building NUNAVUT NEWS/NORTH - One of four Hudson Bay Old Blubber buildings has been restored and will be preserved for all to enjoy.
"It is a good place to see our history, a way to educate our children to show the younger generation where we come from and to preserve and keep our culture in Cumberland Sound," said mayor Sakiasie Sowdlooapik.
