"This is a valuable opportunity to engage openly with other business stakeholders about what’s working, what’s not, and what’s needed to foster a stronger, more supportive environment,” says Mark Henry, president of the Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce.

The City of Yellowknife is inviting local businesses to participate in a brainstorming session on enhancing safety, economic activity and the overall business environment.

The municipality's workshop is scheduled for June 10 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at city hall.

The gathering will unite business owners and community stakeholders to share ideas and find ways to foster a stronger economy, according to the city.

Yellowknife's downtown will be a central focus, but the session will also reflect challenges businesses throughout the city are facing, the municipality states.

“This is a valuable opportunity to engage openly with other business stakeholders about what’s working, what’s not, and what’s needed to foster a stronger, more supportive environment,” Yellowknife Chamber of Commerce president Mark Henry stated.

Mayor Ben Hendriksen said that strengthening Yellowknife’s economy means understanding challenges businesses across the city face.

“This session offers a chance to listen and collaborate on ideas that support growth, improve safety and build long-term confidence,” he said.

Businesses and organizations can register here.
