The search for John Utalaaq Oklaga of Baker Lake ended successfully when he was found at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
Oklaga was located about six kilometres northeast of his campsite.
His tent and Honda had been found north of Shultz Lake by Baker Lake search-and-rescue members on Sunday, Aug. 25.
Oklaga had been expected to return to the community on Sunday, Aug. 18.
