The final round of hearings on Agnico Eagle Mines’ (AEM) Whale Tail Pit project were held by the Nunavut Impact Review Board (NIRB) in Baker lake this past month from Sept. 19-22.
NIRB is now in the decision-making process on the AEM file and has up to 45 days to submit its recommendations to Ottawa.
