Fort McPherson man charged following home invasion

A Fort McPherson man is facing charges following what police are describing as a home invasion.

RCMP say they received a report of a break and enter into a residence on Oct. 16. The police arrested one individual in relation to the matter.

The investigation remains ongoing and further details about the incident are subject to a publication ban, according to the RCMP.

Nathan Francis, 29, of Fort McPherson has been charged with two counts of breaking, entering and committing an offence, two counts of robbery, mischief under $5,000 and failure to comply with an undertaking. He remains in custody following an appearance before a justice of the peace.
