Inuvik Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA) completed its two-year renewal and training session on Oct. 19-20,
Returning volunteers were re-certified while new ones received training.
Representatives from the Canadian Forces were on hand to show the volunteers the latest technology and techniques in air search and rescue. Following a day of theory, the volunteers got their hands dirty with a mock-search flight.
