The driver of a vehicle that left Highway 3 and landed on its roof died on Aug. 2.
Behchoko RCMP stated on the morning of Aug. 6 that they are investigating the fatal single-vehicle rollover that occurred near the Kilometre 290 marker between Behchoko and Yellowknife around before 6 a.m.
The driver, who died at the scene, was the only occupant of the vehicle. The individual was not publicly identified by police in a news release.
An RCMP traffic reconstructionist and the Northwest Territories Coroner Service are assisting in the investigation.
