A Fort Smith man facing multiple sexual assault charges and sought via an arrest warrant was arrested in Fort Smith on Monday night.
A tip from a member of the public made it possible to track down Dallas Abraham, according to RCMP spokesperson Const. Josh Seaward.
"He did not surrender himself but rather was found and taken into custody by police," Seaward stated.
Abraham appeared before a justice of the peace and is being held in jail. He is scheduled to return to court on Wednesday.
He has been charged with sexual assault with a weapon, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of uttering threats against a person, assault, assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon.
