A home on Bonnetplume Road was subject to an early morning police search.
Inuvik RCMP say they acted on a search warrant early May 5, 2024 with the assistance of the Northwest Territories Emergency Response Team. The warrant was part of a larger drug trafficking investigation by the police.
“This incident is still under investigation and there may an increased police activity in the area throughout the day,” said media relations officer Cpl. Matt Halstead. “As the investigation is on-going, no further information is available at this time. Additional information about this incident will be provided in the future.”
