Pink shirts make strong statement in Gjoa Haven

Pink Shirt Day, which encourages students to oppose bullying, was held at Quqshuun Ilihakvik in Gjoa Haven recently.

Local RCMP officers led students on a parade of kindness around the school gym on Feb. 28. The week's activities included making posters, speeches, discussions and skits. School/community counsellor Christine Porter led the school's Pink Shirt committee.
