Taloyoak’s new airport goes into service

The new $6.4-million airport in Taloyoak became operational last week. Under construction since September 2016, the two-storey, 3,466-square-foot terminal building will house a Community Aerodrome Radio Station (CARS) upstairs, where workers will have better visibility of the surrounding airport facilities.
