"The youth's next court appearance is scheduled for Nov 13 in Iqaluit. The investigation is on going," stated RCMP by e-mail Nov. 10.

In addition to the fire at the grocery store, four vehicle fires and a garbage fire at an uninhabited home were reported over a six-hour span. The Northmart fire forced the evacuation of nearby elders' residences.
