A man charged with second degree murder in the death of a 65-year-old woman in Deline last December is to appear in court in Yellowknife on Jan. 10 for the start of a preliminary hearing.
Jonathan Tetso, 31, appeared briefly in court in Yellowknife by video from the North Slave Correctinal Complex on Sept. 18. The hearing will be held to determine if there is enough evidence to send the case to trial. RCMP announced on Dec. 30 that Tetso had been charged in the death of the senior citizen. Her name has never been publicly released. Testso has been in custody since his arrest.
