The GNWT announced Monday it is accepting applications for the 2021-2022 Healthy Choices Fund.

The Healthy Choices Fund is an initiatives aiming to provide residents with resources and education on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It’s open to health and social services authorities, community and Indigenous governments and non-government organizations that can demonstrate partnership with an Indigenous or community governing authority. 

Projects carried out through the Healthy Choices Fund should have a focus on youth and promoting community partnerships, a Monday news release announcing the initiative states.

Grants of between $10,000 and $75,000 per year will be awarded from a pot of up to $400,000 per year. The application deadline is 5 p.m. April 1.
