William Powell, a 24-year-old man from Mississauga, Ont., has been arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of property obtained by crime.   

The accused has a court appearance scheduled for April 1 in Yellowknife.
“Illegal drugs are hurting our communities. (The) RCMP is putting (in) every effort to protect the most vulnerable members of our society,” stated Marie York-Condon, NWT RCMP media relations spokesperson. “This seizure helps in reducing the harm caused by illegal drugs in our community.”
