A Fort Smith man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of a 48-year-old man.
Wilfred Abraham, 54, was arrested and remanded to custody after a man was found deceased in the community Monday evening, stated an RCMP news release Wednesday.
The NWT Coroner Service has ordered a post mortem examination.
RCMP and the NWT Coroner Service are continuing to investigate.
Abraham is due to appear in a Yellowknife court on Aug. 16.
