A canoeist paddles across glassy water in Nááts’įhch’oh National Park Reserve, in front of the park’s eponymous mountain, on a stamp from one of Canada Post’s newest collections, released on Jan. 15.
It’s one of nine stamps in the first wave of “From Far and Wide,” a collection of vistas from destinations across Canada that the agency has deemed “must-see,” according to a press release.
Nááts’įhch’oh National Park Reserve extends north off of Nahanni National Park, near the NWT-Yukon border. The mountain is on the traditional lands of, and is important to, the Shúhtaot'ine of the Tulita area.
