Paul Betsina to run in Tu Nedhe-Wiilideh

Former Yellowknives Dene First Nation councillor and manager at the Det'on Cho Corporation, Paul Betsina is announcing his intent to run as MLA for Tu Nedhe-Wiilideh.

"I have had the benefit of being raised by my extended family and my community, in turn I was surrounded by many wise leaders that have guided me to this point in life, a point where I am ready to represent all the people of Tu Nedhe-Wiilideh," Betsina stated in a Aug. 16 news release.

He also helped many youth have a voice in decision making as a councillor and through this role at Det'on Cho "gained invaluable experience in strategic planning, finance and corporate governance."

Betsina listed responsible economic development, affordable quality housing and settled claims as his political platforms for the coming election.
