It is with profound sadness that the family of Joseph Menard announce his passing on January 16, 2024, at the age of 85 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Ivy; 5 children; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Rene
Joseph Menard and Gabrielle Marie Menard; brothers, Rosaire and Raymond; and brother-in-law, Jerry Wasylynchuk.
Memorial Donations may be made in Joseph's name to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories (10430 61 Ave NW #306, Edmonton, AB), or the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation (5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB).
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute at the University of Alberta Hospital, and Palliative Care Unit 9Y at the Edmonton General Hospital.
