November 21, 1952 - March 16, 2024
Nancy Tedford (formerly Nancy Desjarlais) of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away on March 16th, 2024, at the age of 72. Nancy was a compassionate and resilient soul who faced life's challenges with grace and strength. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, no longer burdened by suffering.
Originally moving from Ottawa, Nancy and her family made their home in Yellowknife in the late 1970s before eventually settling in Edmonton in the mid-2000s. She found joy in simple pleasures, such as taking leisurely walks, immersing herself in music, and, above all, engaging in heartfelt conversations with friends over a cup of coffee.
Though Nancy may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and light she shared so generously during her time on Earth. Nancy will be remembered fondly for her warmth, heart of gold, and a contagious laugh that brightened even the darkest of days.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Desjarlais) Tricoteux and her son, Shayne Desjarlais. Tracy and Shayne wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to Lynn Cook for her unwavering friendship and support, especially during their mother's final days.
Nancy Tedford is laid to rest at the Leduc Municipal Cemetery, where she will forever be remembered with love and reverence by all those whose lives she touched.
