Lunch time: black bears feast on inconnu

A mother black bear and her cub were seen eating inconnu that had washed over the rapids on the Marion River in traditional Tlicho territory last weekend. Bears and inconnu are quite common this year on the portage to Whati. Video by Gordie Greening.

Two black bears, a mother and her cub, were seen eating inconnu that have washed over the falls on the Marion River in Tlicho territory at the start of September.

Black bears and inconnu are quite common on the river this time of year.
