The Chief Public Health Office is reporting this morning that the number of completed tests that have been conducted to date for COVID-19 is 138.

The update was provided on the Department of Health and Social Services website at 7:52 a.m.

There are no confirmed cases of the virus.

The department states that there remains a low risk of acquiring COVID-19 in the NWT as of Monday morning.

The GNWT is testing "anyone with flu-like symptoms and who has travelled outside of NWT within 14 days" as health officials try to identify cases as soon as possible.

On Sunday evening, Kami Kandola held a media teleconference recommending all travellers arriving from international trips self-isolate for 14 days and self-monitor symptoms upon returning.

More updates will follow throughout the day and week.
