There are no positive cases of COVID-19 in the NWT, said the health chief in a press conference on Thursday afternoon.

"The risk is low for the NWT," said chief public health officer Kami Kandola, who added that 54 people have been tested up until today, all of which came back negative.

Across Canada there are 122 cases of the virus, and one death.

The health chief said that health authorities continue to test anyone for COVID-19 who has flu-like symptoms and who has traveled outside the NWT in the last 14 days.
