A “network issue” interrupted internet connections for customers in some parts of Yellowknife earlier this week.

Spokesperson Andrew Anderson said the outage affected primarily residents of Niven Lake, “but in some other areas of Yellowknife as well.” Yellowknifer received complaints of outages in the Findlayson Drive area, including on Mandeville Drive starting Tuesday afternoon and lasting through Wednesday.

He said the issue has been resolved and customers are back online.
