GNWT says phase two of recovery plan takes effect June 12

Premier Caroline Cochrane is scheduled to hold a news conference Friday on phase two of the Emerging Wisely Covid-19 recovery plan.

The premier will speak alongside health minister Diane Thom, Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Kami Kandola and Conrad Baetz, deputy chief public health officer and head of the NWT Compliance and Enforcement Task Force, according to a news release.

"Media are invited to a participate in a videoconference to discuss the roll-out of Phase Two of the Emerging Wisely Plan that comes into effect on June 12, 2020, and updated travel restrictions," an email from the GNWT's press secretary's office read.
