Yellowknife RCMP and the General Investigative Section (GIS) are seeking a woman charged in connection with a robbery at Willy’s Convenience Store on Range Lake Road earlier this year.

Cynthia Lafferty, 20, of Yellowknife, has been charged with two counts of robbery and one count of theft under $5000 and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

On Saturday, April 20, Yellowknife RCMP received a report of an alleged armed robbery at Willy’s Convenience Store on Range Lake Road.

After obtaining security footage were able to link her to a left at Mac’s Convenience on April 17 and a previous armed robbery at Willy’s on Jan. 4.

RCMP are actively seeking the whereabouts of Cynthia Lafferty, and ask anyone who may have witnessed the events, or have information on her location, to call Yellowknife RCMP at 867-669-1111.

Lafferty is described as Metis descent, female, 5’ 7”/ 170 cm height, 127 lb / 58 kg, brown hair and brown eyes.
