United Way opens applications

United Way NWT has opened its application process for the 2019 Community Investment Fund.

Non-profit organizations in the territory can apply for grants of up to $7,500 up until Nov. 30. There is also a three-year $15,000 grant up for grabs.

“We're looking forward to reviewing grants from interested groups. It's inspiring to see the strength, passion and dedication to making Northern communities stronger.” stated Paul Gillard, Community Investment Fund committee chair in a news release.

All applicants must be registered with the Canada Revenue Agency. Over the past five years, the United Way NWT has provided more than $450,000 to non-profit organizations in the NWT.
