Woman arrested after Lutsel K'e RCMP seize 'significant amount' of liquor

Charges are pending for a woman arrested last week after a "significant amount" of alcohol was seized at a home in Lutsel K'e, an alcohol-prohibited community, say RCMP.

Mounties located and seized over 60 bottles of liquor at a residence in the community after responding to a "disturbance complaint" on the afternoon of Thursday, March 21., state police in a news release.

Police say $3,400 worth of liquor was seized at a residence in Lutselk'e, an alcohol-prohibited community, last week.

Lutsel K'e is an alcohol-prohibited community. Alcohol, regardless of the amount, is not allowed within the community limits.

Officers seized the following:

  • 30 375ml bottles of liquor
  • 33 200 ml bottles of liquor
  • one 750 ml bottle of liquor
  • two 1.75 L bottles of liquor

The haul is estimated to be worth $3,400, according to RCMP.
