Workplace misconduct inquiry will cost $30-40K

The estimated price tag for the inquiry into allegations of workplace misconduct against municipal enforcement manager Doug Gillard is between $30,000 and $40,000.

That estimate, provided by external legal counsel heading up the investigation, was shared by administration during Monday's municipal service council.

The city will fund the inquiry through unspent funds from city vacancies, said senior administrative officer Sheila Bassi-Kellett.
