Yellowknife RCMP ask for public's help in finding wanted man

Yellowknife RCMP are turning to residents to help locate a city man wanted on an arrest warrant.

Mounties are on the lookout for Gary Taylor, 38, for warrants related to "resisting/obstructing a police officer, possession of cocaine, operating a motor vehicle while disqualified, operating a motor vehicle while pursued by police, assault, mischief under $5,000, failure to attend court and breach of undertaking or recognizance," the police stated in a news release issued Monday.

Taylor, police say, was last seen in around 12:45 p.m. Monday in downtown Yellowknife near 50 Street and 52 Avenue, states the news release.

Police describe Taylor as an Indigenous male,  5’7” (175 cm). He weighs around 70 kg (155 lbs), with slender build. Taylor has short brown hair and brown eyes.
