Police in Yellowknife are turning to the public for help in tracking down a wanted man.

Adrian Sangris, 22, is wanted on multiple warrants stemming from an alleged assault at a city residence on June 16, say Yellowknife RCMP.

A warrant for his arrested was issued in Territorial Court on June 18.

Sangris is charged with two counts of assault, one count of assault causing bodily harm, one count of mischief not exceeding $5,000 and one count of failing to comply with a probation order, according to a news release issued late Monday.

“RCMP have followed up on several leads to locate him, and are now asking for public assistance to further their investigation,” states the news release.

Sangris is described as 170 cm/5’6, weighing 65 kg/143 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information relating to his whereabouts is is asked to contact Yellowknife RCMP at 669-1111.
